History

1970
1970 - 1972: Our start-up phase

Establishment of the company, in partnership with the British Tobacco Company (Australia)

1974

Started its ice cream manufacturing division in partnership with Amatil (now part of Coca Cola Amatil) and with Cold Storage Singapore.

1978
1975 - 1983: Downstream Integration Capability

Developed a captive distribution network to support its frozen products.

1979

The founders obtain 100% of control of the company

1983

The first of its distribution points outside of Java is established in Denpasar, Bali. DFI currently has 21 distribution points

1986
1984 - 1997: Expansion of Product Categories

Introduced meats, French fries & other frozen vegetables to its selection of products.

1991

Commenced its pasteurized milk production. Expanded its distribution and support of chilled products.

1995

Established a distribution network for its dry foods and beverages division.

1996

Expanded its F&B offering to include processed meats and seafood products.

1997

Commenced its production of high-quality juice products.

1999
1999 - Current: Downstream Integration with Distribution Capabilities

Commenced operation at MM2100, West Cikarang, with two expansions, in 2005 and 2010.

2008

Started production at the MM2100 dairy, bakery plants and expanded the production of UHT milk.

2012

Built a new, air-conditioned warehouse to support its products.

2017

Established the first DiamondFair retail stores.

2018

Launched its e-commerce platform
